A joint Entranc eTest for admission to the 1st year P.G. course for the above five Medical Colleges in the stte conducted by one of the State Universities. 25% of total seats are filled on All India basis through All India Entrance Test conducted by AIIMS New Delhi.
Reservation of Seats : 75% seats are reserved for the medical graduates of the state. 25% seats are filled through All India PG Medical Entrance by AIIMS.
Domicile bar : Candidate who has studied for at least 3 year continuously as a regular student in a recognised institution in the State or whose father/mother has continuously resided in the State for a period of at least 10 years and he/she (candidate) has studied at least for 5 years in a recognised institution in Rajasthan owr whose father/mother is an employee with 3 years service on October 1 of the year of admission of the Rajasthan Government (including officers of All India Service borne of the State Cadre) Undertaking, Corporation, Municipal Boards, Improvement Trust, Panchayat Samities, Co-operative Bodies, Statutotry Bodies and Corporation formed under the Act incorporated in Rajasthan, a University or Higher Secondary Board in Rajasthan or whose father/mother is permanent employee or has put in 3 years continuous sevice in Central Govt. or institution of the Central Govt. including Central Public Sector or Corporation studies in Rajasthan.
Procedure for admission : All the candidates except those belonging to Govt. of India nominies are to appear at the P.G. Medical Test held by the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, Examination centres are Jodhpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Udaipur, Kota and Shri Ganganagar. The candidates are selected in order of merit on the basis of marks secured at the Entrance Test.
How to apply : The prescribed application form for admission to the five medical Colleges of Rajasthan may be obtained from the Principal of any one of the five Medical Colleges on cash payment of Rs. 15/- or by sending Money Order or Postal Order of Rs. 20/- during May/June. The application form duly completed must reach the convenor of the Admission Board for Admission to the Medical Colleges, Rajasthan genrally by the 21st June of the year of admission.
